Product Rule
When to Use the Product Rule
When there is one factor multiplied by another:
y=(x^2)(x+5)
How to Use the Product Rule
y=(x^2)(x+5)
y’=(2x)(x+5) + (x^2)(1)
Then simplify to: y’=3x^2+10x
